The State Enterprise "National Radio Frequency Center" (Center) is a subdivision of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications and is a state enterprise, based on the self-financing. The Center was founded in 1993 and during the 1993-2008 the company has functioned as a State Enterprise "State Communication Inspection". In 2008 the company was reorganized into the State Enterprise "National Radio Frequency Center”, which is the successor of the State Enterprise "State Communication Inspection".
The main task of the State Enterprise “National Radio Frequency Center” is to ensure the necessities of national economy and of the population with radio frequencies/channels for providing different kind of services, like TV, broadcasting, fixed and mobile radiocommunications, etc. This task, provided by Article 39 of the Electronic Communications Act no. 241-XVI from 15.11.2007, has been focused on the one hand to provide the radio frequency spectrum needs of national new and existing users, and on the other - to ensure protection of national frequency assignments, including international protection..........
